Good, ole fashion H2o. It really is amazing how among the MILLIONS of beauty trends that pop up each and every year, water is always at the top of the list of effective beauty remedies. Ever wondered why that is? Because it’s not actually a trend at all, it’s an essential part of our wellbeing. It’s a must to not only feel our best, but also look our best.
Let’s start with the basics
The starting point for all things gorgeous (like you!) stems from hydration. So find a calculator that uses your specific stats and find out exactly how much you should be drinking. Like most things in life, general recommendations for water consumption are just that...general. Things may look slightly different for you. We like this one specifically. Just in case you weren’t already aware, water helps with the detoxing and purification process. Allowing your body to do what it was made to do.

When you give your body what it needs, it glows. Having properly hydrated skin decreases the appearance of wrinkles, plumps the skin and aids in skins’ elasticity naturally. Many anti-aging products encourage cell turnover rapidly. Our skin at one point was able to do this on its own in our younger years. But water can actually do this better than any of those products and should come first and foremost before anything else.

You should always keep a moisturizer as part of your routine. But water helps maintain skin's balance and can give you a better understanding of what kind of moisturizer it needs and how much.
